2010 Paragliding Competitions

Competitions are an integral part of every sport. We bring you a few links to pages where you can view the sporting calendar of events and then plan your competition season.


There will be a number of interesting events in Slovakia in 2010. Their schedule is at the Light Aircraft Association of SR website. One more interesting event will take place in Slovakia – Czech Open will be organized here from 31st of July till 7th of August.

Paragliding World Cup  starts in Brazil. European part of the PWC will be in Greece, Italy and Portugal. Superfinal will be in the end of September in Turkey, Denizli.

The most important race of the season 2010 is undoubtedly the 11th FAI European Paragliding Championships. This event will take place in Abtenau Austria from 23rd of May till 5th of June.
